Dynamic Sample Rate Technology (DSRT) is used for the capture. The standard sample interval is 4ns. Starting at a window referred to the trigger, the sample interval changes to 200ps for 408ns. In this example DSRT starts at -100ns referred to the trigger.
DSRT minimizes storage, ADC power, and memory bandwidth. The hardware multiplier based PSW and hardware integrator ESW are used to capture the peak power and energy of every transition at switching rates up to 100kHz with 1-99% duty cycle variation.
