Hello!

I have a simple question about the test connection of the CS548.

The LED on the probe head lights up red. What exactly is the problem then?
When I wiggle the probe head, it still lights up red.

After a restart, it usually lights up green, so the error seems to have been acknowledged.

Is it possible to reset the error without a restart? Or where can I see the cause or a message for the error?

Is an error reset possible with python commands?

Apologies, we missed seeing your query. Are you talking about the CS1302? If so, it means that the connection between the CS548 and the CS1302 is not reliable Generously washing the connector of the CS1302 and link cable with IPA and then plugging and unplugging a few times can resolve it. If you have two CS1302 plugged in and the first one always goes red then you need to upgrade the firmware with the latest.

Let me know if it is something else.

Thanks for your answer!

Sometimes restarting the oscilloscope helped. If that didn't help, unplugging and plugging the connector helped. So I think there was a problem with the connector, as the problem only occurred sporadically.

How can the oscilloscope know that a firmware upgrade is required if it has no network connection?

The scope does not know - it was a bug which we fixed!
