error 8

Hello,

I use a cleverscope CS328 serial FF--- on a Win XP SP2 machine. When I start the 3,513 or the updated 4,614 application revision I allways get the same error message :

Error 8 occurred at Open File in File waveform read.vi->Scope Main.vi

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW: File permission error.

I don't know whether this is a real problem, I found no file read.vi nor Scope Main.vi.

We suggest you verify the following:
1. you copied the entire contents of the 4,614 update file into the program files/cleverscope directory.
2. the directory is not write protected.
3. the files themsleves are not read-only (use properties to check).
