Does anyone know how I can get a CS328A to display a pulse train with a logarithmic vertical scale rather than the more Common linear voltage scale. I want to display time on the X axis and a Logarithmic voltage scale on the Y axis

We don't have a log amplitude axis available (ie one that went 1 10 100 1000 up each division).

However, you can do maths to display a large dynamic range.

You can multiply the logarithm as needed.
You can use the Analog Names and Units to correctly describe the units being used.

As an example, you wish to display log base 10 of the pulse train height.

In the Maths Equation Builder (View/Maths Equation Builder) write the equation

log(a) -> b

This will send the log of Channel A to the B channel.

Open the Maths Display (View/Maths Display), and you will see the logarithm of the pulse train amplitude in the B channel. The amplitufe axis will be the usual 0 1 2 3 4 but I guess you will have to infer 1 10 100 1000 10000

Here is an image of a 4000V offset sinewave, and the conversion.
