Since the Android operating system now supports USB OTG, I would love to have to be able to connect my phone to my Cleverscope and have a app where at least basic oscilloscope functionality could be achieved without having to lug around a laptop and waiting for it to boot up. I suspect that would be a big undertaking though.

Quite. The biggest impediment is that we have developed the Cleverscope in Labview, (which means we can gear of some of the great stuff that Labview does), and there is no Android version of Labview. When NI do it, we will be doing an Android app!
