Hello,

I'm trying to save a .txt file from the spectrum graph. I measured the capacitance and ESR of an electrolytic capacitor. On my laptop the File -> Save as text... does exactly that (a text file with frequencies, capacitance and resistance). On my colleague's laptop it saves the scope display in time domain (digitized samples). We tried activating the Spectrum Display first, then selecting the File -> Save as text... , but it kept saving the time domain samples into a huge .txt file. We are both using the 4.696 app version. Any idea, what we are doing wrong?

You have to select the display to export by clicking on it, and then it will export that. Make sure the Control Panel shows DISPLAY: Spectrum, and it should work.

I keep trying that, and it keeps saving the scope time domain capture instead.
Yes I see "DISPLAY:Spectrum"
I tried both the "Save As Text" method and the "Fast Save" method. Tried restarting. No luck.

.
Any suggestions?
