While using the USB isolation cable, a part failed inside of the Cleverscope 328. It is located on the pcb next to the dc input jack. (It appears to be a common mode choke) What is the make and model number?

The common mode choke was a problem part. It doesn't have sufficient electrical isolation between the windings, and so we saw shorts. We no longer use it. The correct solution is to remove it, and just bridge across. I will send you a pdf showing how. Anyone else has this problem, please email support@cleverscope.com, and will help you.
