I've been using my cleverscope off and on for quite some time now, and when I tried using it this morning, the application keeps shutting down as soon as the control panel window draws! I tried re-installing, I tried deleting the ini file, I can't think of what else to do. My cleverscope is dead until I can get the software to work.
Here are my specifics:
Dell laptop running Win XP Pro SP3
Cleverscope shows up as ""Cleverscope CS323A MSO XP"" in the Device Manager
Downloaded and tried the latest 4.630 software
Like I said, this is so strange because I've used the cleverscope on this laptop before with no problems. I have no idea what changed between now and then, but I'm dead in the water right now.
Thanks for any help-
*Brian

Brian,
We are not sure what the problem is but there are a couple of things to try. With the latest update is a document and files to update to the NI-Visa USB driver.
Also, a while ago, we have changed the firmware that controls the USB. As you have an early CS328A I would recommend updating the firmware to the latest version, once again available in the update.
