I have a question about CS328A-FRA equipment.
When measuring FRA, the Step and Decade items are fixed at 10, 20, 50, 100, and All.
Can the user change this?

Hello,
This is the number of steps per decade. It is fixed at either 10,20,50,100 or All.
If you choose All, then you can set the step resolution (the number of Hz per step) to anything you want - this is done in the Sig Gen Controls.
If you set the steps per decade to 10..100, then the step resolution is automatically calculated, and takes into account if it is a log or linear sweep, or a short frequency span.
We find that the range 10..100 covers most applications, and is easy to choose.
Please explain, if you need something else.
