Roger,
Is this going to be new hardware? When? I was planning on ordering a Clever Scope this week--should I wait?

How difficult is it to install one of these boards as a field upgrade? Is it a simple plug-n-play operation, or does it require soldering or an other more invasive operation?

No, but our heads are down trying to get the next release out - watch this space! However, that is no excuse for not checking the forums occasionally!
The sampler is plugged in and held in place with a little hot melt glue. It can be exchanged by a compentent technician with an anti-static work station. No soldering is required but you need to be a dab hand with hot melt glue.

Roger Carter

Do not hold off buying, it is software based developments we are working on so you will be able to update any existing units.
